Business Terms and Conditions

By confirming a booking with RedKnot Tours (Pvt) Ltd, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Agreement Navigation
1. Bookings and Payments
- A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
- Full payment must be settled before the commencement of the tour unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Prices are quoted based on current rates and may change due to fuel costs, taxes, or supplier revisions.
2. Services Provided
RedKnot Tours acts as a destination management company and arranges transport, accommodation, and activities through licensed third-party providers.
3. Changes to Itinerary
While every effort is made to follow the confirmed itinerary, minor changes may occur due to weather, safety concerns, road conditions, or operational reasons.
4. Client Responsibility
- Clients must ensure valid passports, visas, and travel insurance.
- RedKnot Tours is not responsible for delays caused by immigration, airlines, or personal negligence.
- Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour.
5. Liability
RedKnot Tours shall not be held liable for injuries, loss, accidents, delays, or unforeseen events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
6. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters or political unrest, refunds will depend on recoveries from service providers.
7. Governing Law
All bookings and agreements are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
Return and Refund Policy
RedKnot Tours aims to maintain fairness and transparency in all bookings. Cancellation and refund conditions are outlined below.
Cancellation Procedure
- All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email or WhatsApp.
- The cancellation date will be considered the date written notice is received by RedKnot Tours.
Refund Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the number of days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
- 30 days or more before arrival: 100% refund of the total booking value, excluding bank charges and third-party transaction fees.
- 21 to 29 days before arrival: 75% refund of the total booking value.
- 14 to 20 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total booking value.
- 7 to 13 days before arrival: 25% refund of the total booking value.
- Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: No refund will be provided.
Non-Refundable Items
The following services are non-refundable once confirmed:
- Non-refundable hotel bookings
- Train tickets and special transport arrangements
- Safari jeeps and entrance permits
- Customized experiences booked on request
- Advance payments made to third-party suppliers
Amendments and Rescheduling
- Date changes are subject to availability and revised pricing.
- Any additional costs must be settled by the client.
- Refunds for amended bookings will follow the same cancellation timeline.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 working days. Any bank charges, currency conversion differences, or transaction fees will be deducted from the refunded amount.
